OUR STORY

It was July 4th, 2010 in Boulder, Colorado when Rachel invited Robbie, the local barkeep, to go hot tubbing with some friends. Not surprisingly, he was prepared in full Eagle-Scout-style with an emergency bathing suit in his backpack. The next day he invited her out on Boulder Reservoirs fastest and only sailboat. The two lovebirds spent all day talking and laughing, but it didn't end there.

When Rachel wasn't skating for Denver Roller Derby or Robbie shooting APA pool, they were out and about, exploring all the beauty that Colorado has to offer. Winters were spent seeking out the snowiest mountains to snowboard. Summers were filled with other adventures like impromptu camping trips, concerts, Indian cooking classes, biking, road-tripping and collecting speeding tickets around the Rocky Mountains. When Rachel relocated to Boston for a job offer, Robbie soon followed in pursuit of higher education (and his one love). He started graduate school at Wheelock College and completed his Masters in Integrated Special Education.

Fast forward to 2013 when Robbie proposed to Rachel on top of Rendezvous Mt. in Jackson Hole, WY. It was a magical week filled with knee-deep powder, bluegrass, snow machines, hot springs and moose knuckles. (Lol, the local hockey team)

Since then, they have moved from Boston, currently residing in Manhattan. The duo loves to create, design, and make art that inspires others and themselves. They enjoy cooking, especially Indian, exploring, traveling, and meeting new, wonderful people. They are falling in love with NYC and can’t wait to continue the next chapter of their story.

They are beyond excited and blessed to share their wedding together with all of their family and friends–a colorful weekend filled with music, laughter and love!
